In 2019, she was living in a back house in LA, making around $60,000. Last year she did $50,000,000 in revenue. Her name is Ann McFerran, and today we’re talking about how she went from a poor immigrant from Thailand, to owning a business that has hundreds of employees, over $100 million in revenue in the last 2 years, and how she’s done collabs with some of the biggest celebrities in the world.

Ann tells us how she had childhood insecurities, the struggles she had to overcome and how you can do the exact same thing.

Ann came from an abusive, alcoholic father and a broken family. She was raised partly by her deaf and mute grandfather in a bad part of Thailand. She’d almost forgotten her mother’s voice when her mother came back to bring her to the US. Ann learned English very quickly, but had to overcome the social and cultural barriers.

But soon she started getting into makeup, and found that augmenting her lashes were a way to make her look more alert. The problem was, all the products on the market weren’t quite there yet. Ann fixed that, then she took things to the next level.

Here’s a brief overview of the steps:

1. Create a following. She tells us how she did that in the video.
2. Start marketing the product to your following. She did $1,000 in sales very quickly.
3. Hire out for jobs you aren’t good at. Ann knows her weaknesses, which is one of the greatest strengths you can have. So she hired an ad buyer who did a phenomenal job.
