He’s lost more than most people will ever gain in a lifetime.

45% of businesses fail in the first two years. And in 10 years, 75% of all businesses fail. Why am I telling you this? Because if you can anticipate failure, you can be prepared for it, learn from it and be better at avoiding it in the future.

The most expensive mistake you’ll likely make is not what you do, but who you chose to do it with. A lot of entrepreneurs may at some point start a business with a friend. Friends are easy to work with because we already like them, but unfortunately, sometimes money makes people do crazy things like steal from you. It has happened to me, and it will probably happen to you. It sucks, but it’s not the end of the world and it will hone your senses to look out for the next time it could happen.
